Four strata. All of it, roughly the thickness of a human hair. Defects live in the top layer. So does the shine. Correction removes the defect without spending the layer — measured work, not bravado.
Nothing gets corrected through contamination. The surface is stripped back to bare, honest paint.
Under inspection lighting, defects have nowhere to hide. Machine polishing levels the clear coat by microns.
Corrected paint is an investment. It gets sealed before it leaves the bench.
